My daughter has a thermal insulated lunch bag and there have been days where the ice packs are still cold (not frozen, just cold) when she gets home 10 hours after I pack her lunch. I've used them in non insulated bags and it's only kept cool for 4 hours. I use two per bag and put them on top of each other so they keep themselves colder longer than layers singly **Q: Why is there a hole in the middle?
