Amazing product. The is the only brand that my dog doesn't refuse. These easily break apart so they may be crumbled into feed for easy administration to your pet. They actually smell like chicken stock cubes! I have a 18 year old mix who has needed bladder support for about 8 years, these are by far the best formula! They do take a few doses to work so don't be discouraged if they don't work right away. I have had to increase her dose over the years and if we miss doses, she will start to leak urine when she sleeps. Without these, my dog was completely emptying her bladder in her sleep. Can't recommend them enough!

It just was not a good product for my pet

Here are the facts - I have had my Basenji Mix on all kinds of over the counter medication for her incontinence - some work a bit. Others not so much. She is high energy and non-stop yodeling, huffing, howling- no matter how much exercise she gets. She is just a talkative gal. So the prescription meds were a no go because they wired her up. She was like a dog on meth with the prescription medications. There are the oct one's that cost a pretty penny and if your dog is over 55 lbs you have to give them two pills twice a day - that can get expensive and they don't work very well. I changed her diet and tried all the fad foods that promise to help - soy, pumpkin, etc...I have had to wash her blankets daily, follow her around to make sure she isn't dripping, treat her raw private parts from urine burn... it has been a nightmare... and I am constantly cleaning and deodorizing my carpets. Then I got this stuff - IT WORKS! and it may even prevent her from getting Fanconi syndrome that is common in Basenji breed - because the ingredients are actually good for her kidneys. I only have to give her one pill twice a day. It has kept her bed dry for the most part- She still has her moments but I expect that. I was actually considering keeping her outside before I got this stuff- She would have hated that because she is spoiled and loves being with me. I am so glad this stuff works. I would hate to have to keep my poor dog outside all the time - so would my neighbors - with her screaming all day.

My 13 year old dog has been having incontince issues while she sleeps through the night. She usually has at least one accident every night, so every morning I change her bedding. This has been the routine for about 4 months now. I don’t mind one bit because she has been the best dog I could have ever had the pleasure of living with since she was 6 weeks old.However, I worry that the accidents may be concerning to her, since she has them in her bed that she then sleeps on once she falls back to sleep during the night.So, after a vets exam and urine cultures and clean ‘old dog’ bill of health, I tried the Proin. Nope! Never again. The vet says I can put her on some hormone pill but that is not guaranteed to work, either. I researched a lot online and decided to try this supplement based on ingredients and reviews.Unfortunately, it has not had any discernible effect on her potty accidents thus far. It’s been about 1.5 weeks now and there’s been no change in that area.BUT - I have noticed that she seems perkier lately. She is far from a young pup, but she seems more ‘interested’ in life again. It’s slight, but noticeable to me. Also, she LOVES these pills. I have to break them into smaller pieces or else she likes to just swallow the entire pill whole, lol. If I break it, she will chew each piece. She practically begs for these every morning and evening before meals.I recommend! It’s a worth a shot and seems to be a good product. Good luck to you!

My 11 year old pit bull Heidi has been on this for a week, and the improvement is noticeable and marked in the symptoms for which I bought it - no more changing sheets in the middle of the night! It was recommended to give two tablets twice a day for dogs 51-75 pounds. Heidi is 60 pounds and I gave her 1.5 tablets twice a day. Within two days of starting the product, she was sleeping for the ENTIRE day. It then because difficult to wake her up for feedings. I cut her back to 1/4 (one-quarter) of one tablet twice a day, and noticed a marked improvement in her energy level, and maintained the effectiveness of the medicine. Now, four days into the 1/4 tablet, twice a day, she is back to being almost comatose. This medication is the only thing that has changed in her regimen, so I have to assume it's something in that that has this impact on her. It's breaking my heart to see her like this, and pray that she will return to normal once it has worked itself out of her system.

Not big on reviews, however, I most definitely had to take the time to write this. I have had my Weimaraner for 5 years this coming June. I was a bit naive when I got her as a pup and had her spayed when she was either 13-14 weeks. The vet I took her to said that was the earliest I could do it, so I did. Not knowing until years later it's best to wait until dogs are about 1 year old health wise. Anyways I took my Luna to the Vet because she kept leaking on her bed and the couch and she never knew she was doing it. It was frustrating, and I felt horrible for her. When the vet said it was incontinence and suggested a new diet or possible steroids to put her on I sought out alternative routes. I was lucky as this was the 3rd alternative route. I was a bit skeptical at first but about 3 weeks in the leaking stopped. I am so happy I stumbled upon this as it truly has helped. She is on her 3rd bottle and I will continue to buy until it stops working (which I hope is never). If your pup is suffering from this I hope you give this a try and I truly hope it helps as much as it helped my Luna. My dogs are basically my children and when they are in pain or uncomfortable it pains me, so finding this was truly a blessing. Thanks for a great product!!
