Cannot get enough of Nan Rossiter!
I cannot get enough of Nan Rossiter's story telling. Each book is just as good as the last and each story transports you within the pages. I cannot put her books down and just wish there were more.... You will not be disappointed! Beautifully written!

barely okay
For a novel that is supposedly Christian oriented I was surprised at the several subtle sexual references. I've never found this before in a "Christian" novel. Segments of the story were well done; others were off-putting. Another reviewer mentioned the separation of the boy from the dog he adored. I also felt that the mother was only self-serving on this issue. And then suddenly the story comes to a very abrupt ending. I was not impressed to say the least. This is a real pet peeve of mine. After one disappointment I totally avoid any other books by writers that do this.

Review
Good look at the struggles of a parent of a child with autism; but the ending is a little too happy ever after and not necessarily realistic.

Disapointed
This novel is about a Mom and her autistic son who move back home to take care of ailing Dad-Grandpa. It is also a love story rekindling of a high school romance and a corrected error. My disappointment with this novel is that what happened-- the error is never shared-- leaving book without core substance. Disappointing.

If you know anyone with an autistic child you will appreciate this book!
I liked Lindon because he could relate to Henry. A patient man and a story worth reading. A good combination.

thought provoking on autism
I liked the book. It gave me a little insight to what it must be like to live with an autistic child. Very challenging and so frustrating for everyone, just because the communication is broken down. Learning to understand that they communicate in a totally different way. Patience is a must and a few pets may really be key!
