Medical Terminology in a Flash!: A Multiple Learning Styles Approach

Book was in good condition. It wasn't brand new, but it also wasn't ripped or had water damage or missing any pages. It was good condition, everything there that I needed. And it arrived at the earliest date of the time frame.

I thought the book covered everything that needs to be covered in a simplified manner. Although it did leave so much information out that I had to either have prior knowledge or medical dictionary to help define terms.

I found this book to be super helpful in learning the terminology. There was ALOT of information, and it was a decent sized book. But it was good about breaking the words up to prefixes and suffixes. It also divided the terminology up by body system. I would def recommend this to someone. It helped me learn a lot of the language that I use know in nursing school and made it much easier.

I bought this new at a significantly reduced price and it came with the access code, which is what I really needed, but the book had a big rip in the front. You get what you pay for. The content of the textbook is great and at least all the flashcards in the back were in new condition. I can't really complain too much because the damage is just cosmetic, but it was a great big rip in the left corner, starting from the cover and extending into the first 2 chapters.

I purchased the 3rd edition brand new and when I went to register online and utilize the access code, it said they don’t support this version anymore. I called the company and sure enough their website doesn’t allow you to register it. There are a ton of practice questions but the answers aren’t in the book - they can only be viewed online but you can’t access the online resources!

The best textbook I have used for terminology. The one I used before was okay but by far this text was more substantial and thorough. I would definatly recommend. Its easy to understand. Will keep on hand for review if needed.
