Purchased unit and received within a few days, so bravo on fast shipping. Set up was easy, and have been delayed by running POC serpentine coax cables to locations for cameras rather than cables shipped, so soldering connectors and putting on BNC ends. We have one location where I will use the supplied cables since close to DVR location. So far so good, with only four cameras connected. Haven't hooked into Intranet yet. Easy GUI interface. We will see how long it lasts. Some DVRs have pooped out within 12-months in some of our implementations. Has only been installed a couple weeks at present. All seems fine though and would probably get another as needed. Pretty much an acceptable/standard unit at a good price.

This is an ok unit for the price.... The video quality is pretty poor and pixelated. The dome cameras that came with its night vision works great inside where i have them but then comes the night vision on the bullet cameras i would be lucky to see more than 4 feet in front of the camera but in the day they work great! The dvr software is so old and out dated.The one thing that makes me really mad about this unit is that there is no way to get the ip for remote access from any where but home aka the 192.168.1.? that the router assigns. but there is no external ip so good luck finding it! If i get a fix for this from DNT i will post it up here so everyone else can know how! Would also like to know how to if possible to update the software in the DVR******UPDATE******After having these a while and use found major cons. Cant use a keyboard to put passwords really inconvienent. Two of my cameras go dead till I unplug them from camera side. Picture quality is garbage. And night vision is useless after 3 feet which is when I need them most. Motion detect recording sensitivity is useless records everything even dust particles no matter the sensitivity and makes the hdd fill way too quick. And then sometimes yoh will have missing blocks of time.. my room got broken into and of course the 45 seconds usable for evidence is missing and not erased cause dvr locked up and no access to any one but myself. Also picture quality is so bad if u even make the smallest zoom move its pure blur. If u have any questions email me. Dont buy this spend the money for something better
