I poured over YouTube video reviews looking for the perfect piano that would be (1) good to learn on, (2) come from a reputable company, (3) performance-slanted toward being a piano (not a synthesizer; that is, I don't care about anything other than the piano sounds), (4) wouldn't be easy to outgrow. I wasn't able to demo the piano in person, so I can't compare keyboard action vs. Yamaha vs. Roland, but I'm satisfied. Nor can I compare sound quality, but that seems mostly a personal preference anyway. Overall, it's a great piano. I have a few quibbles, though. The bottom of the piano is made of hardened plastic and feels a bit cheap for the selling price. I'm also less than impressed with the on-board sound. It sounds great using headphones, but I don't think the speakers are nearly as powerful as they should be. I purchased a portable piano without much question.
