How do they compare?** A: I don't have the Klein, but the Irwin's would strip well when wires have no outer jacket, like a TW wire. With THHN or THWN, which have outer jackets it slips off. You need to nick a THHN with another wire stripper before the Irwin's would grab & strip it. For small gauge wires like AWG 18-22, the Irwin's were excellent. **Q: HI witch country is made klein ? this better or neiko ? or similar both?** A: I have the Neiko and that’s why I’m looking at these. The new Neiko strippers are absolute TRASH. I sent them back. **Q: What's Klein Tools Warranty for this product?** A: 1 year according to Klein Tools site **Q: These are rated for 10-22 gauge but can they strip 8 gauge?** A: I have some 8 gauge 133/29 tinned Marine copper wire with a PVC jacket. The 8 GA. marine wire with PVC jacket didn't slip right in from the side needed to be pushed in from the front. The first strip was fairly bad, wire was uneven and developed bird cages. However the second strip went much better and the stranded wire was straight. However were the stripper cut into the PVC insulation on both side of the wire the cut wasn't straight 90 degrees, the insulation was cut a wedge shape on both sides of the wire. so there's a gap approx. 1/8" that wedge shape from the wire to the full diameter of the insulation. Though it may work to install a connector it's not considered in the trade to be a viable strip. The stripper needs to cut the insulation at 90 degrees from the wire so a when installing a connector there no gap between the insulation and connector terminal. So I would have to answer NO it won't, at least on some 8 gauge wire and insulation.
