**Q: Has anyone tried taking hot food in it, would it keep things hot until lunch time? I have not been able to find a container of any sort that would.**
A: Zojirushi makes food containers. I have a thermos of theirs - the first time I used it, my tea was still too hot to drink literally 24 hours later.
