(Red,Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal.) Many people, like myself, who use a GBA (Gameboy Advance) assume they need to purchase a GBA link cable, which would make logical sense. However, it will not work. GBA link cables are only designed to work with GBA games. This cable however will fix that issue if you want to link older games (Original Gameboy, Gameboy Color). The cable fits into the GBA perfectly and worked flawlessly allowing me to trade from Pokemon Red to Blue. To summarize, this WILL link older Gameboy games being played on original GB, GB pocket, GB Color and GB Advance.
