It's not bad by any means, I find it's more neutral flavor makes it fairly versatile and useful as a solo condiment since it won't overpower other flavors. I think if you prefer very salty soy sauces you may want to choose a different one, but if you want one that may be fun to use for a wide variety of recipe ideas then Lee Kum Kee may work for you. I believe they also make a dark soy sauce variant, which may be worth checking out if you really like this brand and want to stick with it.

**Q: Why is this priced so much more than I bought the same item from sam’s club**
A: Because its not Sam's Club

**Q: Ingredient list?**
A: water, salt, sugar, caramel color, soybean, wheat flour, monosodium glutamate and disodium, 5 inosinate and disodium, guanilate as syrup, contain soybean, wheat

**Q: Where is this soy sauce made and bottled?**
A: Manufactured and bottled in Hong Kong. If not, I wouldn't use it. Check your dried garlic products. They are likely from China and I stoppyusing them.

Shop on Amazon for US grown and processed garlic products. I got Kirkland brand which comes from California. Very good! Cost more but worth it! 

Store brand garlic powder was causing me GI discomfort. It was produced in China.

**Q: does this need refrigeration after opening it?**
A: I am chinese, you don't need to put it in the fridge. It can store a long time. but remember Oyster Sauce need put in the fridge after it open.

Lee Kum Kee has a slightly more delicate umami profile than Kikkoman or 701 soy sauce, in my opinion. It's not bad by any means, I find it's more neutral flavor makes it fairly versatile and useful as a solo condiment since it won't overpower other flavors. I think if you prefer very salty soy sauces you may want to choose a different one, but if you want one that may be fun to use for a wide variety of recipe ideas then Lee Kum Kee may work for you. I believe they also make a dark soy sauce variant, which may be worth checking out if you really like this brand and want to stick with it.
