How does this roll up and unroll? Will it flatten quickly or is that a problem? Also how does it handle being walked on (by little feet...)?

It roll up and unroll very easy, but don't do it too tighten otherwise there are folds.We don't really walk on it, but you must be careful because the the end of the green is a couple of centimeters high.So little feets can easily stumble over it (sorry for my English)

What are the dimensions?

The total length is about 9ft; maybe a few inches shy of 9ft. The wider part where you putt from is about 4 inches shy of 3 ft wide. Where you see it narrow just beyond mid-way down the mat...this is about 1 ft, 10in wide & then where the holes are it widens back out to about 2ft, 8in. Also, the end of the mat where the holes are...it's 1 to 2 inches thick to allow for hole depth. Hope that helps!

is this only for indoor use? Can i keep it out in my patio or will the weather damage it?

My grandson uses it everyday to practice putting on. It’s well made. Their floor covering is stone tiles. Your patio would be perfect and winter shouldn’t hurt it, as it’s an Astro turf. It rolls up easily, also
