Ladysmith Black Mambazo: Live at Montreux

Pretty good concert. The visual quality is not fantastic, but I bought this to listen to rather than watch, so that's fine. The vocals are good.

Have liked this group since before Paul Simon feature of them. As always the haunting refrains seemed to touch an unspoken spot in prehistory. A primative mode of singing that tugs on the heartstrings of the "From before time"

Everything is ok. This is a good seller.

Good idea giving us a whole show on Ladysmith. Especially, after they just stole the show on Paul Simon's 'Graceland.' The harmony, the rhythm, the steps. These guys got it going on.

Very easy to listen to and great entertainment.

Excellent dvd

Great voices and harmonies. They are great entertainers and their program is very good. Unfortunately the sound equipment is a little bel.ow our standards of today. Hence microphone stands litter, obstruct and limit the singers movements away from the microphones. Hence, in their dance routines there are times when the audio disappears!

Gran bel DVD, per chi ama il genere vocale- etnico. Ben fatto, belle riprese. Ritmi e voci si intrecciano in un bellissimo sound.

Ich habe viele Aufnahmen von Montreux-Konzerten. Ich kann aber nicht verstehen, daß Ladysmith sogar mehrfach nach Montreux eingeladen worden ist. Trotz aller Weltoffenheit finde ich sie einfach nervtötend.
