Low acid peaberry coffee at a reasonable price
I tried and loved the Hawaiian peaberry coffee when I was in Hawaii, but the price was too much to order at home. I found this alternative grown in Tanzania and it's delicious. It's low acid and smooth. Makes a perfect cup of coffee in the morning.

Its decent but not spectacular
This was a pleasant smooth medium roast with medium sweetness and mild acidity. It reminds me of dried figs with a slight citrus finish. It wasnt spectacular but not bad either. I wished it had aroma but it was roasted 2 months ago. Used aeropress with 20g just slight finer than pour a pour over coarse ground setting, with 200gm or ml hot water (i have no clue what the temperature is), bloom 30 secs then brew 3mins tops. I find it more pleasant dilluting and extra 100ml hot water. Took a few tries to dial in this recipe but my first time brewing a peabody.

Wow....Fantastic!
So I've had just about every coffee out there from traditional to mushroom to peanut, but not the monkey poo one. So my favorites I've landed on are Kona since I drank it like crazy when I worked at 6am and it just brings me back to that time and just love the taste. The other favorite is Giatemala Antigua because I discovered it while actually in Antigua when I was there to bring hone my daughter we adopted in 2007. Most of guatemala served a sort of Cuban strong brewed coffee or "Cafe con leche" .... coffee with milk.... and they literally poured your cup milk in one hand coffee in the other and it was poured 50/50. It was pretty good since the coffee was strong enough to come through all that milk. I usually take just a little milk in my coffee and that's it. So when we visited Antigua and I tasted the coffee I loved its flavor. I bought several pounds in colorful burlap sacks and brought it home. When we landed on our connector in Dallas Fort Worth.... well I forgot to claim the coffee on my customs slip so I had to stand there while men with assault rifles stood by and soldiers went through my entire luggage with even my dirty underwear for all to see. Lol. Anyhow.... so I still buy it from time to time for many reasons. I have never had Tanzania Peaberry. It might be partly that I just cleaned and descaled my Technivorm Moccamaster but this coffee is just out of site. I tend to lean towards African coffees when I'm taking the emotional aspect out of it like the role it plays with Kona and Antigua. I love the flavor of African... like Ethiopia coffee a lot and this is where I land on taste and smell alone. This Tanzania Peaberry has knocked my socks off. It's gone to near the top of my list. I don't know what it is about the bean or the roast or region or what but I will have to read up on it now. So now I have to find it for a little cheaper. I'll pay $12 for a pound of beans all day and it will be my daily ritual for a long while. Pushing $20 though and I won't pay to drink it everyday. I will say that since the beans are smaller it seems like it takes less in my grinder hopper as I just fill it flush to where it comes out of the recess where the burrs are and typically its above that for other beans. I know that's just in my head though since the beans pack down in there better since they're smaller and well 16 oz is 16 oz no matter what.

Not a great buy
Coffee beans tasted slightly stale. I would not buy from this company again. Very disappointing.

Disappointing. Does not live up to the hype
Kenya Peaberry Coffee is often praised for its unique flavor profile. Vibrant acidity, fruity notes (such as berry and citrus), and a wine-like body. I did not experience this. The coffee was good, but the flavor lacks depth or a standout characteristic.

My new favorite coffee.
I drink a lot of coffee and the Tanzania peaberry is absolutely my new favorite. It’s super smooth, tastes incredible and smells Devine.
