**Q: Can you hard wire this to battery? How would you select different modes if you cut the switch off?**
A: Yes, you just have to get a red wire and a black wire to the battery and get your fuse put it on the red wire and you use the same switch but you got play around with the hookups it's about it.  I'd did it on the work van that I drive.

**Q: what is the brightest color for daytime use?**
A: The state of illinois has done research, and proven day or night amber is the first light the human eye sees.

**Q: Can i connect this to aa or 9v batteries?**
A: I studied electrical engineering you actually can.
You would need exact voltage say it's 24 volts. That's 2 9 volts and a few small batteries or just 3 9v in SERIES connected with aligator clips and that adds voltage but you'd need a way to charge it. Solar is an option

**Q: do you sell one to mount to plastic roof of a backhoe?**
A: I can't speak for what the company sells but I can suggest that you mount a sheet of metal to the backhoe and then attach the lights to that.
