High quality, good price.
I received this item in the mail a few days after i ordered it. The packaging is simple and attractive, if i could make one suggestion, it would be to have a tab in the flap that enables it to be reclosed. After opening and inspecting the product, i was very satisfied with the quality of the material the wipe is made from. It is very soft and has more weight to it than id expect of a piece of fabric of its size. I used it on an old record that i dont play often so i could make sure it wouldnt scratch my good records. As advertised, i noticed no scratches resulting from the use of the wipe, and it was very effective at removing dust from the surface of the record. The dust mostly sticks to the cloth and can be brushed off of it easily. I definitely thing its more effective than those carbon fiber brushes at removing dust off records before playing, and have not used my brush since i bought this. The price makes it a great value, as brushes can cost much more than this. Would definitely buy one of these again!

Pretty darn good
You're not going to want to use this for the initial cleaning of truly filthy records you pick up at flea markets or garage sales. This is more for after they've gotten their first major cleaning, what you would use to do a quick dust off every time you play thereafter. Or if you get a used record that is truly not that dirty, this works well too. Very convenient, very effective, both wet and dry (I used mostly dry). Black color is helpful in knowing how dirty it is getting (machine washable, but I have not had to do that yet). Only complaint is that I wish it were just a little bigger, and of course, a little less expensive ;) All things considered though, for its niche it's a nice little product. 4 1/2 stars.

A Must For The Audiophile
Absolutely the BEST wipe I've ever used. I've just cleaned my first 50 records with it. It is smoother than any cloth. I use it with the Phoenix 2 with Enzymes cleaner. For wet cleaning on vinyl, amazing. While it is damp with cleaner, I first use a mofi brush to deep clean the dust and dirt, creating a line. Then I use the damp WAXX XL Microfiber Vinyl Wipe by placing it over the dust line, and quickly flicker/wipe the dust line off. Then I shake the cloth before spraying and wet cleaning the record. While it may not remove everything, it removes A LOT. I then use another part of the cloth to wipe the record dry. Big improvement. The most important thing to note, the size of this cloth is perfect, well thought out. The feel is perfect for cleaning - it is superior to any other cloth for vinyl. I use my other cloths to clean glasses, glass frames, etc. But this is my go to for vinyl records.

Specifically says it won't scratch, and yet, it does.
I grabbed this as an alternative to carbon fiber brushes, just to see if it would be more effective at picking up dust, hair, etc. in between plays. I followed the directions on used to a tee, wiping very gently while slowly spinning platter, etc. Used a regular black record that was unmarked to test, and after doing the first "cleaning," immediately noticed tons of small scratches/"smudge," marks that were not there before. Maybe I just have bad luck/a bad cloth, as other reviews rave about it, but I was extremely careful and immediately, there were scratches/marks present. It did remove some of the dust in the process, but not all, and def. not other small materials that my brush has removed in the past. Back to the brushes I go!

Great Product!
I've been addicted to a cleaning brush - microfiber or velvet - for decades. Wet or dry. Picking one up was automatic when I played my vinyl. Tried a grounded, carbon fiber brush as well. Not good.Waxx XL changed my addiction. It does a better job, easier to use, faster, and less of a "drag" on my turntable. I can get a huge number of wipes before I need to wash this due to the ability to fold it over to a clean space and brush dust off. Works well for wet cleaning too.Very nice product. Sometimes less is more. I'm hooked. Put the brush cleaners away.

A cheap and effective solution to an eternal problem: dust on records
This cloth really works and is the perfect solution for spot cleaning (I use a record cleaning machine for tougher jobs).I usually mist some distilled water on one side of the cloth, wipe away any dust, and then wipe away any residual dampness with the dry side of the cloth. Unlike other microfiber cloths, it doesn't add static to the record and unlike those record brushes, it actually gets dust off the record (rather than just moving it around on the record).

Just recently started collecting vinyl records. Most that I bought were new, so I used this with this prior to playing them for the first time. Worked well, removed all paper dust and the record played nicely
