Fossil ammonite "buttons" mined and polished in Morocco. 6 pieces per order. The brown rock around each ammonite is cut and then the top is polished to bring out the details. The back is cut and left rough. Very interesting pieces as each is unique in detail, size, shape, and color. See all the photos to see the quality and variety. The fossils are wrapped in green tissue paper and placed in a Mantis Minerals brand box labeled with the age of the fossils.

These are perfect for explaining fossils to 5 year olds since only one side is polished. Not too expensive so they can carry them around.

This is a very nice collection of Ammonites with the polishing they are very clear in the stone. They may be only 1 to 2 inches but they are impressive all the same.
