Warriors of Wrestling

If you liked the type of wrestling that didn't involve skits in the locker room to enhance the storyline then you would love this DVD and wrestling organization. The American Wrestling Federation "Warriors of Wrestling" that ran TV shows in the late nights of the early 90's is great fun. With stars like "The Missouri Tiger" Jeff Gaylord, Hercules, The Texas Hangmen, Michael P.S. Hayes, Chris Adams, Cowboy Bob Orton, Koko B. Ware,"Mr.USA" Tony Atlas, The Warlord, Jim Powers, "Konan 2000" Scott Putski, Tommy Rich, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Tito Santana, Sgt.Slaughter, The Road Warriors and Nailz...young future stars (at the time anyway) like Ron Powers, The Executioners and more...mixed in with managers Oliver Humperdink, Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie and Bugaloo Brown...and thrown into the mix commentary by Terry Taylor, Nick Resnick and Chris E. This is Awesome Wrestling Fun! The production of this wrestling federation was well funded, so you don't have to expect an indpendent style showcase. This will be a well deserved throwback to true wrestling fans who accept the late 80's and early 90's as the TRUE glory days of wrestling. Everyone had a gimmick and everything was family oriented. I highly suggest this DVD.

Ive bought alot of independent wrestling dvds of late. This set is pretty good if you like quick matches. It features epsiodes of AWF at 46 minutes long. It feature alot of WWE stars like Tito Santana, Sgt.Slaughter, Warlord, etc. They have rounds like in boxing, which is a bit weird. The commentators arent bad at all and on most wrestling dvds, they suck. I notice epsiode 13 on disc 3 does not play at all. They also have wrestlers come in during matches and talk about stuff. I guess they were strapped for time. Overall, a good set of wrestling.

The wrestling annals of history are full of memories of those grapplers who never failed to give the fans their money's worth. Every real fan must add this product to their collection.

This wrestling promotion is different in that they use a round system. They also brought in some big names. I would definitely buy this DVD it is 13 hours of great wrestling action

Lots of *old time classics* for the money..Wrestling fans will enjoy it , my son does
