Problem was, I was already brushing my tongue twice a day. He said my toothbrush must be too soft for the job (but great for my teeth/gums) and I needed a stiffer brush just for my tongue. He said a Medium toothbrush would probably work, but I consulted Amazon and decided to try these Tung brushes, specifically meant for the tongue. They're perfect! Stiff enough, not too tall (so it's easy to get to the back of the tongue), and they definitely work! My tongue looks cleaner, and my breath is fresher. It's very satisfying to scrub off and then spit out the coffee/food stains.
