It's either that or 16 inch here on amazon **Q: How many microphones can it fit?** A: It depends on the size of the mics. But because this is a fairly small case, probably 2 small mics at best. **Q: When you remove the perforated foam squares, is there a separate layer of foam at the bottom of the case for padding?** A: There are 2 layers of foam. The lid portion and the bottom portion that is perforated for customization. Really disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by D***. on 29 April 2022* I really appreciated how customizable the box was having the foam perforated into squares. Getting the exact fit I needed worked well. As a suggestion, lay out your items to plan it before you start. You really can't put it back once you pull it apart. I had two applications in mind for this box so I ordered two. It worked really well for one (as pictured). The other was a small 6 channel digital mixer.. It was simply too small even after I carefully measured it. It cuts in about an inch or so for the handle which is just what I needed to make it work-- so it didn't. If it's close, it's going to be too small for you. They didn't come together, so I found this out before the 2nd box came & I was able to immediately return it for a refund. My wife commented on how flimsy it looked; however, it was what I expected. She may have been expecting something stronger than plastic. I think it will protect under normal circumstances. Just don't drive over it with the car. Overall, I think it's an ingenious product. Just watch the sizing. It would have been nice to find something in between this and what I needed to get for the mixer.
