I used it daily, I travel with it - and if I happen to lose it, I'd but it again
Got this because I like to have a of an angle when using the built-in keyboard of my laptops. This does that quite well and it travels well.I'm specifically using it with Razer Blade Stealth. It doesn't slide very well so putting it back the right distance for the laptop to find a comfortable typing position is one thing I'll mention. However, as this is designed to not slide, that's kind of the point. The other thing I'll say is that if you notice that the bottom in the picture is not as wide as are its two sides. It prefers to be on one of those longer sides (see picture) rather than upright as the picture. However, that' how I'd use it anyway, so I don't see that as an issue for me. If you want to use the notch for cable control, then this might be an issue. I'd be OK with no notch, but it does no harm.I got it, I travel every week and I take it with me. I'm using it as I type this (again, see that pic) AND I used it when I go into office and take out my laptop. So I'm using it on a daily basis.OK, I just though of one thing. I got the glow in the dark one. The idea is better than the implementation. It's not very bright.

Perfect for tablets!
I've been using mine for years with my Surface 3 tablet (which is known for its terrible kickstand for drawing). It's been the perfect solution, not only for an ergonomic drawing experience, but also as a pen/stylus holder (in the "notch", to prevent rolling off of a table), for grip on slippery surfaces, and for power cable management. It is lightweight and fits perfectly in my small neoprene case with my Surface. iPad Pro users will find a lot of similar uses in light of the Apple Pencil and the lack of a kickstand on the iPad.I've also been able to use it with my full sized laptop for ventilation/cooling. And I can use it with my classic slate style Huion graphics tablet to get a more comfortable angle. (most digital artists use Wacom brand tablets, this would be great for those as well, and it would be great for a regular paper notebook or clipboard)I loved mine so much that we got one for my mom. I'll be buying a second one for myself (because of its versatility, I sometimes need two simultaneously!).

I bought two of these and the best I can say is these are my "when nothing else is around" stands. You are paying for what looks and feels like a triangular piece of rubber with a pretty useless cutout in the middle. I bought the cheapest color, which was about $7. It works but with a major caveat: You DO NOT want to put a high performance notebook of laptop of any kind on this. It doesn't elevate it enough to allow any cooling advantage. High performance laptops run hotter. That is simply the way it is - higher performance generally means higher operating temps. You also do not want to use this with anything larger than a 15" laptop and, yes, I tried it. It will tip over if you do. Even with smaller notebooks, it still tips unless, as other reviewers have stated, you position very close to the hinge. Conclusion: When you have nothing around and perhaps want to use it when traveling, it is usable (sorta) for short periods of time. Even then and for short periods, consider how hot your notebook gets. Heat is the #1 cause of notebook death.

Great product
I was hesitant to purchase this because I thought it might topple over. It doesn't It's mass coupled with the downward pressure of the laptop weight keeps it firmly planted. You do have to find the "sweet" spot on your laptop for it to sit evenly without wobble, but that is very very easy to do. Prior to this I was using a gel wrist rest to prop the laptop up which could also get some wobble if it was off center.

Been searching for a way to cool my laptop that was inexpensive & functional. I've used it for the past six months & it's GREAT
I've been searching for a way to cool my laptop that was both inexpensive and functional. I use a laptop desk which has the perfect dimensions for me and I didn't want to give it up. After searching for days, I came across this item.I've used it for the past six months and it's GREAT. It allows the heat to dissipate and at the time of my purchase it was an add-on item for $3.47Only thing I wish is that it would stay under my laptop a bit more securely. I've tried to use velcro tape but the silicone makes it hard for the adhesive tape to stay on. I'm searching for another solution.I recommend this product.

Simplicity rules. Big difference in comfort. Worth the $.
Is this a little much to pay for a small hunk of silicone? Probably. Could you or your local DIY artisan craft a decent substitute from found materials? Perhaps. Should you bother? No. Why? Because this thing is pretty awesome, and what's your (or the artisan's) time worth? The stand is light but solid, and far more portable than the fancier aluminum stands. The silicone is grippy enough to keep the laptop in place (I'm using an 11" Mac air, but this would work for larger machines), and the two heights are just enough to make a huge difference in typing comfort. I don't know how I've gone so long without something like this. A new must-have.

Very handy
Raises the laptop keyboard just enough to make it more comfortable. Choice of 2 heights depending which way you stand it. Much better then the piece of foam I'd been using before, and the top corner catches nicely in the lid/base joint to keep it in place.

Good price and good function, but with a caveat
I bought this because I needed something simple, fanless, and reasonably priced to prop up my 15" laptop for a better angle and for better heat dissipation. The CURB works well, but with a noticeable caveat.Certain laptops with a smooth bottom like the 15 inch MacBook Pro will slip off the CURB easily if it is jostled. A laptop with a rougher bottom won't slip off as easily, but even then that didn't inspire confidence. The best place to put this would be closest to the screen hinge, provided that the hinge is integrated within the laptop body in the back. Top-hinge laptops may not work as well.
