Kenny Wright at his best
Such a mundane story line about a couple who are clearly in love and comfortable in their sex life. But then... Kenny Wright is a master at the slow buildup, the careful weaving of a tale of domestic bliss that has the potential to become unraveled by the husband's uncharacteristic need to see his wife with another man. But not in the normal hotwife way of just going out there and seeing who is available. No, he sets up his wife by encouraging her to flirt with her personal trainer, someone who has a history of seduction with women. This drawn out tale of the transformation of a typical suburban housewife into a real verified hotwife is one of the best erotic series I have read so far. If you're looking for a hot story that flows off the page as easy as syrup from a bottle, then you'll love all three 'Training to Love It' books.

Who's Training Who?
A husband and wife are both surprised by the husband, Tom's, reaction when the wife, Erin reveals that her new personal trainer is not only male but apparently has the hots for her (and her for him). Maybe not believing Tom's reaction or maybe knowing just exactly where she's leading him, (we don't seem to know *for sure* yet) Erin puts him through a series of teasing "tests" and each time certain parts of Tom's anatomy betray him like a witless traitor. This creates a "power" imbalance in favor of Erin and the passages with Erin as the coy, impish wife are extra hot. It's been said, "The smart wife makes the husband think it was his idea." Is that what's occurring here, or is she appeasing Tom's desires?...I think we'll have to keep reading to find out! This story seems to be a new twist in this subgenre where the wife is the primary impetus driving the couple forward but doing so in a way that is not over-the-top, mean or gratuitously humiliating and she comes across as still likeable and deeply loving of her husband. This first book appears to be the set up for what is follow in the next two books of the trilogy. So while it lacks in page after page of explicit scenes it's "hotness" for lack of a better word, is in the subtle, teasing interactions between Tom and Erin...which a person can well-imagine are foreshadowing of things to come. Tom's angst is depicted very realistically and since he is the first person narrator of the story, the reader really experiences his anxiety along with him. The tone is a little more brooding in this book than in the author's other works but definitely not to the point that you feel that Tom is a milquetoast introvert. He comes across as a normal guy confused by how he knows he's "supposed to" respond and how he actually does and the reader goes through that with him. This is definitely a recommended 5 star read which is very well done and thought out. I can't wait to see what is in store for this couple in the next two of the trilogy.

Basically great
This is a very good book! The setting was realistic, and it was nice to see the introduction of a hotwife/cuckold lifestyle into a couple who had never done it before. The only issue I have (and I don't know if this is addressed in the other books or not) is that the couple is married and have children, but the kids don't really play a big role in the story. Except for the fact that they're mentioned, the husband and wife still act (in my eyes) like a childless couple, taking long showers together, being able to train for marathons, etc. Their kids could have been replaced with pet dogs and it wouldn't make a difference to the story.Other than that it was very good, and I look forward to reading other books by Kenny Wright. :)

I am not sure It can get any hotter!
This is one heart stopping story!Erin and Tom, a comfortable married couple with two kids discover the sexual excitement flirting generates!Stay at home mom, Erin, starts going to a gym to help loose the last stubbern bit of baby fat remaining after her second child. It is also a chance to get out of mommy mode for a little"me" time to re-establish her own sense of worth. All goes well until she changes personal trainer and meets AJ.Things slowly heat up from there. Erin begins to flirt with her bad boy trainer slowly falling under his spell.Tom, her husband increasingly sees his wife's fantasy growing and it torn between excitement and worry about just how far she is willing to take her teasing.Erin begins to realise her not so subtly lustful infatuation with AJ has Tom seeing "red" but confused because the sex between Erin and him is now off the chart!Erin really gets off on teasing Tom and pushes teasing to new higher levels.Tom also trains with AJ at a different gym so AJ doesn't know Tom and Erin are married.Tom soon learns how AJ plans on seducing Erin and things really roar off from there!AJ's plan is slow but relentless and involves getting Erin to train for a half marathon race with him.Tom doesn't know what to think and Erin constantly let's little hints drop adout what might have already happened.Tom starts going crazy but doesn't try to stop her because he loves discovering this sexy side of her and the hot sex she is giving him.Eventually things are poised to go nuclear and they both can't seem to stop the impending threat to their previously stable marriage. The ending is definitely hot but it is the run up to the finale that will keep you on the edge of your seat trying to breathe!Definitely get this and the next in the series you won't be sorry!

Hot story
A hot story. A great description of the Iron Man. Good depth of characters. Only 3 majorly involved. And only 2 of those are well described cuz the 3rd character is only an imagination. It has not blossomed yet. But Kenny wright lost 1 star from me because the sex is not descriptive enough. The convulsions and the orgasms. More the talk during sex is not erotic enough. It does not turn me on enough as Ben Boswell's does. But let's see how book 2 emerges

The hottest thing I ever read!
This has to be the hottest erotica I ever read in this genre. I felt the author somehow had access to the realm of my imagination and pulled out all the fantasies I always had and some more that I didn't even know! This is my first book of this author but certainly won't be the last. The attention to detail of the author is exceptional!

Awesome
Fantastic story, well developed, good characters. And intense, in all of the right places. Many places to go with this story.

Best So Far
I'll add my vote to the reviewer who described this as the best Kenny Wright ever. Totally agree. Pretty much as he says in the foreword this is Kenny walking into cuckold territory but doing it without the usual lapse into the sort of inexplicable degradation of the husband that leaves you wondering why he doesn't just walk away. This book explores cuckold themes in the context of a very loving and functional relationship Can't wait for the other two books in the trilogy.

Excellent read - the best by a good author ...
This is quite simply the best hot wife / cuckold book that I have read. Both it, and its sequel, hits all the right buttons.Kenny Wright is a good author and a leading light in this area - someof his other books are also good ...but this one leads the field by far. I was hooked from the start and seriouslyhope that a third installment is on its way.

Who is training who?
This is the first book in a three book series, Tom and Erin are very much in love and living a normal and busy, happy family life along with their two young children. Things change when Erin gets a new personal trainer in the form of AJ (who has appeared in previous Kenny Wright books) Tom starts to wonder about Erin’s sessions with AJ and begins to form a fantasy about Erin with other men, particularly AJ.They have hot sex after her training sessions in the shower as their previously lacklustre sexlife is rekindled. Erin has a night out with her wild and sexy single friend Jo, Tom gets excited by what Erin wears which fuels his hotwife fantasies and they are further fuelled by an overheard conversation between Erin and Jo about their night out. By now Erin is picking up on Tom’s fantasy and starts to tease him more and more until they agree that there will be no more little fibs just the truth, Tom wants Erin to have sex AJ and she wants it to.This is a well written book as you would expect from an accomplished author like Kenny Wright. It was interesting that he managed to weave little parts and people from previous books into this story. Tom and Erin come across as likeable and very much in love, with each other with a very strong and solid relationship between, them which helps make the story believable. To his credit Kenny Wright took time to develop their characters and explore their feelings as they entered into a new and exciting world of infidelity. Training to love it is a pretty good title as you are never quite sure who is training who, is Tom training his wife to be a hotwife? Is AJ training Erin to be a cuckoldress? Or is Erin training her husband to want and relish her going with other men? Or is the training just for the Triathlon that AJ has persuaded to enter for. Her training sessions with AJ and the Triathlon team are stepped up, which has a positive effect on both Erin’s and Tom’s libidos as they both turned on by the thought of what might happen between Erin and AJ in the future. There is not a great deal of tension between the married couple as they move steadily from teasing and fantasy to reality, although Tom does endure a little cuckold angst. I enjoyed reading this book and parts two and three are already on my “to read” shelf.
