Almost perfect
The tape measure works great, my only issue with it is that the lock doesn't work we'll. It only seems to latch on the inch marks, so for an accurate reading you have read the measurement before taking off the tape measure.

Defective item: the tape doesn't start from 0 but from some random value
The item arrived defective and the seller didn't respond to my question.I don't want to be shipping broken products back across the country with the pandemic going on, but Amazon doesn't offer another way of dealing with a defective item. I wanted a working product but I have to get through a lot of hassle to get what was promised.
