This book is 15 by 15 cm. The language is easy to understand and the presentation is ingeniously engaging. I read all 3 of his books in the local library but decided that this was the one I needed most. I keep this book permanently on my art table. There are many challenges facing an artist, most of which stem from not having another human being nearby to share the journey. It is so easy to give up one’s craft and go back to something else that seems easier. I have found that this book helps me especially on days when I feel frustrated with my art. It’s like having a good friend to share one’s artistic journey. Along with the 10 ways, Austin Kleon shares several anecdotes from others and his own insights on the creative journey. Other reviewers have already elaborated on the content so I’ll refrain from doing so. It is a great little book, especially if you’re an artist, new or experienced.

En bok som är mycket enkel att ta till sig och som verkligen kan låsa upp blockeringar och påminna om de små sakerna man kan göra i vardagen för att nå stora mål!

You are a creative person. And you struggle with things like: imposter syndrome, feeling not enough, ai taking over, want to give up. Stop. Read this book. And no not one time. Read it again and again. Non fiction books like these need to be read at a certain intervals. If you keep stuck, blocked and procrastinate creatively, pick this book and keep going. All three books of Austin Kleon are worth keeping for yourself or gifting them to friends. Easy read. Very empowering and very supportive. Keep going, and re-read it. I read it every 3-4 months.
