The mosquito nets also allowed us to attach fairy lights to the tops using the same ropes. We would turn them on before all the kids dispersed to their hammocks so they could easily find their way around. Then after they were settled we would turn them off before we went to bed. I was considering buying a more expensive lay flat hammock for myself. I was worried because I often deal with my neck shifting out of place. I slept in this all week long and never had an issue with back or neck pain at all. They were so easy to set up, good quality straps and nets. We had an issue with one net that the company replaced so quickly. Their customer service was genuinely a pleasure to deal with (which is a bit of a miracle when it comes to customer service reps, but they were great!) They don't weigh too much. Even our younger ones (3, 5 and 7) can carry their own in their hiking packs.
