Except Slow driving , all perfect and high qualityit would be better if tires upgraded to solidthe available one normal tires with tube

I bought this product and went back to my home country "Egypt" after 3 times only of use the battery went down and tried to call Xiaomi Egypt to check the problem they adviced that any product bought from outside the country not guaranteed and even they will not maintenanceit. Now I have the scooter dead after less than 1 month usage and can't send it back to UAE and not even able to maintain it in Egypt although we have authorized dealer here

The app lags. The overall ride quality is good.

Fantastic product overall. Top speed of 20 kmph as promised on sport mode. 15 kmph on normal mode. Headlight, tail light, everything in order. Connected via MI Home app. Settings can be modified via app and also trip details are synced via BT to the app. There's a digital display as well. My odo already reads 25+ KM. No complains. Good value for money.

Xiaomi Mi Essential Lite was first electric scooter I bought on reccomendation from a friend, but performaces dissapointed, so mixed feelings. On one hand - it was quite cheap comparing to other Xiaomi models, built sturdy, not too heavy, was quite pleased by the looks and craftmenship, it went quite well in Sport mode with speed of 19 km/h tops with my 95 kg of wight on it on the straight horizontal road. On the other more important hand, the batery drained fast - in sport mode (speed 19 km/h) battery drained from 100% to 20% in a range of 7 km, had no cruise control and did not stay locked whole day (I leave it locked over app, but found it unlocked after 8 hours!). The road I was commuting it is built for these kind of vehicles (tracks for bicycles along Cornishe in Abu Dhabi), with few slopes along the way so it should not be an issue for the motor to struggle this much and battery to drain this fast. On sloaps however, the speed rapidly reduces to like 6-10 km/h in Sport mode. I also noticed there was no impact on the range/battery life when toggling between slow-high energy recovery. Either I got a defected piece or the specs are not true. Anyway, it prompted me to return the item after 2 days of driving it and seek for other model.

I dont want to leave a negative review on something that is actually pretty good, but.....The actual scooter seems well built but im 95kg and I'm definitely regretting not getting a more powerful one. Even a gentle incline drops speed to 12-13kph and a moderate hill just have to push it. Below 70kg and I recon you are fine.Now the connection - what a total disaster. I bough this from Amazon UAE, order fulfilled by them, but clearly the product isnt a UAE sanctioned scooter, which is a MASSIVE pain. It means you cant unlock it.I have tried changing the setting to China/Singapore/Korea/UK/France/Spain/Switzerland and it still didn't recognise it. This was using Android app. After a day or two a friend tried with iOS and managed to get it working by logging into my account I'd created and following the same steps as I had, so i know its not me being stupid.After it was unlocked I then went back into the app and changed region and when I set to France it now recognises it on Andriod.A friend then used my scooter, and even after my warning they bought one as well - and guess what?Stuck, and they are now trying to find someone with iOS to get it unlocked.Honestly, the scooter is fine, but the fact you have to download their App (which doesn't work), before you can use a product you've paid for is absolutely outrageous.

Definitely a good buy for those looking to own a scooter for daily commute.Inexpensive, easy to use and not to heavy.Speed is okay for an entry level scooter, others may want to consider the pro versions if you want better speed and range.
