This is the exact bowl you will receive. This hand-thrown bowl is made from buff colored stoneware clay. It is glazed in Sienna Brown and I sprayed a blue along the rim which you can see hints of!! The blue is more visible on the right side of the bowl. It also shows a little on the inside rim. ☺ The glaze is transparent so the color of the clay shows through giving the bowl a wonderful organic feel. Yarn bowls protect your yarn from rolling all over the place or being stolen by your furry friends!! Hand thrown on the potters wheel in durable stoneware tan clay. The yarn is fed through the swoop as shown in the picture (yarn not included) keeping it from tangling. Two holes can either be decorative or can hold your needles when not in use. All edges have been carefully trimmed and smoothed to insure that the yarn does not get hung up anywhere. Bottom of bowl left intentionally thicker than normal for better stability. Yarn shown is a large skein. This is the perfect gift for your favorite knitter or crocheter (even if that is you). Each Yarn Bowl I make are slightly different from each other.
