This is one of those items that once you own it, you will not want to be without one again. This product is simple and extremely useful. It functions well, is light weight and is good quality. I also like that it has an on/off switch as opposed to the motion sensor because I want to control when it turns on. The light itself is a flexible silicone and contains a loop at the top that connects with two magnets to secure the light in the bag. The magnet could be a bit stronger to prevent the light from detaching in the purse. But, I have not actually had a problem with the light detaching. i purchased this purse light as a stocking stuffer for my daughter in law so 1 of the lights still has not been used....but since there were 2 lights included I have tried 1 out for myself... it works great as advertised but the possibilities are many.. it is small and easy to carry... bright enough to see with... with an on/off button !! no motion sensor to waste battery on... I am thinking to buy more for gifts in the future.. would work for male or female...

So cute! I actually really love this. I've never used a purse light before as I'm too lazy to even zip up my bags properly but when your canyon-deep purse costs you serious time rummaging in its depths, the time is ripe for a change. It's nice and squishy so it won't scratch anything in your bag and the magnet loop is strong. I gave the second one to my sister and she loves hers as well. I'll buy another when this dies. The light is super bright though so don't be looking at the light when you turn it on because you'll be temporarily blinded.

I have only had this for a week and I can't believe how much I use it. I would have given it 5 stars, however just like other reviews have mentioned, the magnets can come out. Not a problem so far, I just make sure the lanyard is tucked towards the interior of my purse. I plan on ordering more for backpacks and my briefcase. Cool note: we were at a function where the table was dark and we needed to read some papers. I took out the light and attached it to a glass of water. It made a bright lantern so we could read everything. This light comes in handy

Not very bright AT ALL, the light comes out in a very spread out and diffused way, not like a bright spot light but instead like a soft glowing spa lamp or something. Not very helpful when trying to find something in your purse. Also the strap is supposed to be held on to your purse strap by two teeny magnets that are placed right at the point where the most tension would naturally be. Even if they were really good strong magnets, this would still be an obvious design flaw. However these magnets are really weak and can come apart with quite minimal force. I accidentally very gently grazed my purse against the door frame and it pulled the light right off. I am afraid this will cause me to lose it very easily.

These little things work great! The light is brighter than expected. They are attached by a magnet which holds well, but isn't infallible. But it has only come apart a couple of times.

Got as a stocking stuffer for her for Christmas. I said it looked like it might be something you would like, it would be fine with me if you didn’t use it. Give it to someone at work. It is still on her bag weeks later, so....😊

A great device ...it was bought as a gift and having two with the purchase, I think I can use it in many ways that will be handy.A note by the manufacturer said it can be used for a minute a day everyday for three years ...reassuring no?
