I am surprised by how much I like this soap! The bars are petite, maybe half the size of a bar of Ivory, but personally I like the size. It lathers very well and rinses off easily. I had the boyfriend try it for shaving and he thought it was pretty good--the benefit for shaving is that the slight acidity helped slough off the skin flaking he gets post-shave (don't forget to put some moisturizer on that). There is a scent but it is not powerful and does not cling to your skin as far as I can tell. The scent reminds me of orange popsicles, which may of course be completely tied to the appearance of the soap.The soap is not particularly moisturizing, but I don't need it to be. I got the soap because I hoped it would help with some melasma. After using it twice a day for a couple of weeks, I feel my skin is a little brighter, but I have not taken any pictures or done anything to verify this.Anyhow--will definitely buy it again.

I stay getting dark spot and dull skin. I've only been using this for a couple weeks, but my skin is getting its glow back and the melasma has stopped spreading. It even looks like it's trying to get lighter. So it has been effective. The soap has a very pleasant scent, but I moisturizer with pure rosehip oil because I leaves my skin a bit dry. I usually don't use soap on my face, but I love this already.I appreciate that it doesn't have all the extra ingredients that can counter act the soaps effectiveness.

I believe it’s been working, I use it everyday, one for my face and neck, one for my body. I’ve seen some people say it burns, it doesn’t, even on the first day it never burned for me. The bars are a pretty decent size, I used it everyday and one bar lasted about 2 weeks but I got the small 2 pack. It smells nice, like Kojic Acid and oranges. I’ll definitely be buying this regularly as my skin slowly clears up.

This works GREAT if used correctly, SUNSCREEN IS KEY!I started using this as a targeted spot treatment making a paste with the soap and leaving on 2-3 minutes after the first week and that’s when i started seeing bigger results. I’m so happy I found this, and that I listened to what people said about using it right. Please, you will not see results if you don’t use sunscreen. My skin can take daily use, with a barrier restore cream and sunscreen every day is how I’m seeing actual results unlike other products. Bonus, even though it can be drying, my skin does feel soft after using it. Overall, this is a miracle product and SUCH a good price

I love this soap so much.I cut each bar into 6 small cubes and store them in a sealed container so that my supply stays fresher, longer. And, in the shower, the smaller cube doesn't erode as much from the shower moisture. And even if it does, it's a smaller piece, not the whole bar that's eroding, so I still get months of use from one bar of soap.My skin loves it, it's not harsh at all but still does a good job prepping me for chemical peels or other skin lightening techniques outside of the shower. My skin becomes used to the acids, and I know this soap helps with that. I use it every time I shower. Definitely recommend.

Helps brighten hyperpigmentation and even out skin complexion making skin softer. I feel like it works better on my underarms vs face because I haven't noticed a big difference like I have on my underarms but overall I like the product and it lasts for a very long long time if you cut it into cubes and use 1 cube at a time. It lathers very well so little does go a long way. I know there are some fakes but this is definitely authentic Koji San I looked up the code on the box I received.
