This was probably one of the worst purchases I've ever made in Amazon. Utterly useless as a baby monitor. The "always on" audio cuts out after about 20 minutes, the alerts just flat out don't work. The worst part is sometimes for no reason the app will log you out and then not take your name and password, saying "the account doesn't exist" I don't know about you... But when I need to check on my baby I don't have time for all that, I need a product that wotks, and this one just doesn't.Don't watse your money!!!BTW it's not my internet I pay for and have tested a solid 50/50 up/down

This thing is poorly supported
I bought one of these and, for the price point, it was ok. Back then the google log in worked fine. There were some drops at times etc but it linked up well with my NVR so I used to back up directly to that. I went ahead and bought 2 more..... Then it all went south. When I got the cams, they installed fine to my account, but after a couple months the google login stopped working. This means I had no more access to my account or cameras. No help from support. They are also tied to that account, so I can't add them on a new account. Still waiting on support - probably a year later.The quality of the camera is medium, which is fine for the price point. However the crappy software and lack of support makes this a BIG no no - I have 3 paper weights now

a waste of money
I have tried on and off for two years to use this thing. I'm very good with technology but this monitor is just too glitchy to use. Sometimes it works and most of the time it does not. I have to connect and reconnect. I'll have it all set up and working, go away for the evening and it won't work while I'm away. I'll come back and it's not working in our house either! I have no idea why it's so glitchy. Very very unreliable. Would not recommend at all.

Camera tied to previous account?... I’m the first user. Customer support is dead for this company.
Received the product over a month ago, plugged it in when I got it to make sure it turned on (but didn’t need it yet).This week I plug it in to set it up and it says that the camera is already synced with another account, and to login with that account. As far as I knew, I was the first owner? There’s no way to reset this setting and so the camera is completely unusable.I tried to find customer support on the gynoii website and they only have an email (no phone number). According to posts on here and on Facebook, their customer service team hasn’t been replying to support emails in about a year? Wow. Great. Literally money down the drain.

Poor image quality, lagging, difficult to set up IF it works.
We purchased this for our daughters nursery and it’s been a headache. First we sent it up and when we unplugged it to move it closer to the crib it crashed the connection. Kept saying it couldn’t connect until we reset it.The connection lags and the image is awful unless you put it on high quality which increase the lag. I guess you get what you pay for.May 2019 Update: camera now rarely works. Emails to customer service go unanswered.

Returned it.
The camera had to be re-setup every time it was unplugged or if I didn't use the app every day. The video quality was fine...not great, not awful. The app was horrible (I am a tech snob, but this app was rough).

It is a nice monitor, but we’ve had a lot of connection issues with it and our WiFi. We often lose connection for no reason and then it comes back out of the blue.We have also recently started to get some feedback with the noise and I’m not sure why.
