Activated Sludge: Manual of Practice OM-9, 2nd Edition

Great info in the book, but it's very difficult to find something when you need it. The index covers essentially what is included in the TOC, and doesn't appear to be complete. For example, say you need the SVI formula (easy to learn and forget). You check the pages listed in the index, and it's not on any of those. Not in the TOC. Where is it? I've lost count of the number of times I needed just a simple piece of information and ended up flipping through this book for 5-10 minutes trying to find it. Sad to think someone might actually need this information for troubleshooting rather than just writing a paper like me. This really limits the utility of this book, even though the information is great. Have google or a supplemental manual around.
