As long as you’ve purchased additional low voltage mounting brackets, and the gang box (if not a backless Rework box) has rear punchouts, you’ll be fine. Most USB cables are going to be thick and rigid, and incapable of accomodating anything else ie/top or bottom punchout only with the A-F to A-F adaptors.

Plug the other end of my extension cable into the back of this plate,3) plug the cable from my iPhone into the front of this plate in order to charge my phone in the back bedroom.The initial charging plug in the house outlet was 15 foot away from where I needed to use/ charge my phone,This plate and the 15 ft cable solved the distance and mounting problem,Cable extension was tucked behind the wallboard for a clean installation,One would think the back bedroom was pre.
