They are replacing the unit and I don't have to go through the exercise of shipping it anywhere. I have several Cuisinart products, never had a problem with any of them before this, and they sure came through. Let us say I am a happy camper. My original review is below: I don't know what to say. It was great when it worked, I did not abuse it, I kept it clean. but it just gave up and no longer charges. Wire is in as new shape. So presumably battery has to be replaced - but really, it gave up in one year? I looked up how to take it apart to test the motor and battery, to replace whichever was failing and you can’t disassemble it without destroying it.
