Much better than halogen
Have 3 of these (2 trap for wing tips- landing, and 1 flood for nose-taxi light). Much better than halogen.Extremely bright. Zero heat... I mean zero. Not even warm to touch. The only negative I can find is that they are a little thicker build than the halogens they replace and therefore are a tight fit. This may or may not affect your installation. They work awesome with a negligible amount of amp draw so I pretty much leave them on all the time for increased visibility.

Brite Lights !!!!!! Back up Lights !!!!
I installed them in the back of my flat bed in place of two Truck Lite grommet style round back up lights. They were a little tight getting in the grommets but went in. They are very Brite !!!! a lot better than the Truck Lite bulbs. Dont get me wrong They are BRITE, I just wish they were brighter. Im thinking of getting 2 more and installing a switch for the guy that is tailgating me with his Hi Beams on.

Not as pictured. Incompatible installation and wiring. Feeble green light. Worthless.
Does not even remotely resemble the picture. What is pictured is a par 35 drop in replacement, with the same connectors as your current light. What is sent is twice as thick, with a cable coming out of the back. with lose wires, no terminals. Finally, if you can over come the too thick size and the incompatible wiring, you will get a feeble green light dribbling out of the 16 CREE leds. It looks more like an insect lantern than a spot light. And forget trying to get a return from CS lights.

Bright, bright, bright!
First I installed two on the back of our 4230 tractor and immediately had excellent visibility of the work equipment. Next I installed four on the front of our 7720 combine to improve the light night harvest lighting. As spring work approaches I am ordering more to outfit the other tractors and machinery. These are the lights of the future and as the old sealed beams and halogens are no longer up to the task of working with bigger equipment at faster speeds, they will be replaced by LED.

Nice bright light not bright enough to work as an aircraft landing light. It is a flood light not useful as a landing spot light.

Amazingly bright!
I installed these a deck lights on my 33 foot sailboat, replacing the two burned out halogen bulbs. These things are incredibly bright! It's like daylight outside when I have them on. I've only used them a couple of times but based on the quality, expect them to last. I will update my review if I have any problems but so far, so good.

GREAT LANDING LIGHT REPLACEMENT
Used this to replace the GE PAR-36 on my Piper PA-38 Tomahawk and it is awesome... The brightness is AMAZING! It is a little deeper than the GE bulb with the heat sync but the mounting ring does fit and secures it nicely...
