Sweet sounding and high output
I got this to replace a lipstick 'neck' position pickup I was trying to use in a custom Tele I built. The lipstick was just too much of a stretch as far as output next to the pair of humbuckers in this guitar. I was really pleasantly surprised with this single coil and even though it is not quite as sweet as the lipstick in the neck position, it is still in that same territory tone-wise and can absolutely match the humbuckers in output.

It works!
I am new to building guitars, and don't know enough to compare this to higher-end pickups. That said, It looks great, it works, and that seems like a great value for the price.

Better than expected
I bought this to go with two hold Humboldt pickups on a five position switch and it supplies a reasonable acoustic sound between rounds of real metal

Nice pickup for ten clams
Took a chance on this because of it's price. Pretty impressed. Installed in a Tele DIY kit. Never played a real Tele before so can't really compare it to one, but it's got a nice warm neck pickup sound. I like the tone, so that's all that matters. I measured it at 7.23 ohms. Construction was fine-- nothing loose, etc. No scratches on it. Great value.

Sounds very good, the old one was muddy but this inexpensive pickup sound pretty good and super for the money.

This is a good product
I gave 5 stars because it does everything it says in the add. In saying that you have to remember this is a 10 dollar p/u.It is every bit as good as a stock teli pickup but not as good as a hot rail, but again it is a 10 dollar p/u. I would buy again and use it again.

It's not a top of the line pickup but it works.
I didn't pay much for this and the fact that it was delivered quickly made me happy. This was just a placeholder pick up until I can afford better.I haven't tried it with strings but it works plugged in. The only issue was that it was too big for the tele pickup cavity by a couple of mm. I sanded the edges to make it fit.For the price, I am happy.
