Perfect gift!
A gift for a man who enjoys his fine scotch and whiskeys - got a picture text the first time he used the stones and a comment on how great they are! Regret not getting a set for myself. My only issue was that he gift box was slightly damaged - I don't like giving presents in that condition but he didn't seem to mind.

Loved these stones in our sketch! Very Cold! No more watered down drinks.
So I purchased the stainless steel stones because my husband has been known to have a nice glass of scotch on a Saturday evening. He is constantly complaining about ice cubes watering down his drink. When I received the stones they were in a very nice-looking box therefore they would make a nice gift. The stones come with a very nice-looking black velvet drawstring bag to keep them in. I washed them and then I placed them in the included velvet drawstring bag and placed them in the freezer. That Saturday evening when my husband asked me to pour him a scotch I got the stones out of the freezer and they felt really cold to my touch. I placed two in his class with his scotch. I keep his scotch in a crystal decanter so once I poured the scotch over the stones I let it sit for just a moment before I gave it to him so that it would be nice and cool. He commented on how nice the little square stones looked in the glass. He also said that he was impressed on how cold they actually made his scotch. He was quite impressed with this switch over from a watered-down drink to a nice cool and strong one. These whiskey stones could be used in any drink. They have a smooth stainless steel finish that is quite nice-looking. I give these stones a five out of five stars for looks, materials, and craftsmanship. I highly recommend these whiskey stones(or scotch stones) for my family, friends, and do you. Insufficient Cooling
These are pretty - nicely polished stainless steel, with rounded edges. That said, they do not absorb much heat from the whiskey, and therefore are not, in my opinion, a satisfactory substitute for ice. I tried them in an eight ounce glass and added whiskey. The whiskey started at room temperature and became cool, but certainly not cold.

Where have these been all my life? I absolutely love this modern and functional twist to traditional ice cubes. When I get a chance to unwind with a drink, these cubes add a nice finishing touch in style and taste. I’m more of a sipper so my slightly chilled drinks get to room temperature very quickly. And I despise using anything that alters the taste of drinks. These cubes are great because it extends my pleasure time with my chilled drink and it adds a little touch of elegant luxury that just puts a smile on my lips.To get the longest lasting benefit, start off with a chilled drink and a chilled or frosted glass and throw in these cubes after freezing for 3 or 4 hours.
