Box seems solid enough, but I followed the combination setting instructions and all seemed in order. Flipped around the numbers to double check and now the thing won't open. Tried one digit off on each number in case one didn't "catch" but to no avail. So now I have a fancy locked box I can't access. Complete waste.Update- so I am stubborn and decide the lock must've just detected the wrong numbers (I had entered 695), and therefore I decide to try all 1000 combos to see if one will work. Starting at 999, I get to 970 when I have success! The lock opens... and now won't lock... the numbers no longer lock anything. So it's just a nice box with a latch. Still a complete waste.

This box sucks! It opens on ANY combination! Absolutely useless. Do not spend the extra money on a “lockbox” that doesn’t lock!

Combo got accidentally changed when opened and had to break it open to take my meds

Super simple to use. Fits larger pill bottles but not the larger bill planners. Still safer for my patient.

CHEAP! I bought this for my mother who lives with us. We have a three year old daughter and she has certain medications that could be very detrimental if she got a hold of it. (and she's very smart and determined so those childproof lids wouldn't work alone) I thought it also looked secure enough if someone should ever break in..god forbid. Well after less than a week the locking mechanism broke while my mother's medications were inside. My mother wasn't hard on the box and it worked fine that morning..it looks like the spring latch just broke so the tumbler stopped working. You can't return the a box with the meds inside obviously. Not to mention my mother needed the medication. (hint if you made the same mistake as me and are in this position...the hinges at the back are apparently a weak spot...a screw thick driver will work..the box pulls right apart and I'm not that strong so it won't keep out a determined thief either) What a waste of money...sigh.

This worked fine at first. We purchased this to safe guard our family. We bought the end of May 2016. In July the lock would not clasp at all. Then today my daughter was messing with it and she locked it. Now it's completely stuck even with the proper combination.

Great for my purpose.
