My original bent when I caught a stump while mowing. This fixed that issue and got back to mowing quickly.

Arrived early and was as stated.

I was somewhat skeptical of this product because it was painted black and my OEM was bare, but it is a perfect fit and equal strength of OEM part.

I'm writing this for anyone who owns a well used mower and, in regards to the bad reviews. There's nothing wrong with this part, the "hole in the frame" where it mounts, is the issue! That hole gets "hogged out", or enlarged, over time (use) and that's the REAL reason even a new rod falls out. Here's how to fix it for good: Drill a small hole about a 1/4" to a 1/2" from the end of the rod that fits in the frame. Then, insert it back into the frame and put an over size washer, to make the bend, over the rod and put a cotter pin through the hole you drilled. Now, it CAN'T fall out! Hope this helps.
