Only for very light abrasive jobs. It really is "Super Fine" steel wool
The steel wool is steel wool, so I had to give it 4 stars.I only gave it 4 stars because #0000 Super Fine is Super Fine. Meaning it hardly does any abrading at all. The intended use was to remove some rust from some metal, and this steel wool is much much much too fine for that job.If you have some obvious crusty with ridges kind of rust, you will need much more coarse steel wool. If the rust is very light and maybe hard to see, then this steel wool would be OK.

Bought it thinking to use it to detail my car ...
Bought it thinking to use it to detail my car, but because the car is too new and expensive, decided not to try. Start using it for cleaning the glass top stove. Works very well. My son was using it in some experiments, it is actually burning very well.

Exactly what I wanted
Exactly what I wanted. I use the 4 ought grit to clean my windshield on my car and RV. Doesn't scratch the glass and removes bugs etc with ease.
