My Cats Seem Calmer
Comfort Zone makes two kind of their comfort zone feliway pheromone diffuser products. One is for scratching and marking and the other is for calming. It wasn't until recently that I realized there was this difference. I have used both under different circumstances, but the main reason I used the product was to make my kitties feel more at ease with each other and to help them remain calm. I used it first when I moved to my new house with my two indoor cats to make the move easier for them. This was a few years ago and the Comfort Zone I used then was the product for scratching, although it did seem to me to help the cats tolerate the move with less stress. Then I adopted a stray cat from the neighborhood and I now have 3 cats. Now when I use the product, it is to encourage calm behavior between the kitties themselves. My cats know to use their large scratching posts for scratching, and they are good about using the 4 kitty boxes in the house. The problem arises when my indoor-only (neutered) male gets "frisky" and starts chasing my indoor-only female (who raised him, I might add, as I got him when he was a kitten to keep her company). There seems to be some sort of kitty dynamic going on here since I think my female entices the male into this by going up to him and essentially getting in his face. At first it looks like grooming, but it quickly degenerates into squabbling, and then the chasing begins. I have been using the Comfort Zone Multicat Diffuser product now for over 5 months, first the anti-scratch product and now the calming product, and they both seem to help the cats interact more calmly, although the male still chases the female and tries to mount her, but it doesn't seem like he does this as often as he would when I wasn't using this product. I have also been doing my best to train them to live together peacefully, that may be helping too, although it's hard to know what motivates a cat.My recommendation for someone considering this product is to try it and see if it helps; in my situation it has helped. There are other things you can do too (and numerous books out there which have lots of good ideas), such as adding vertical space so your cats have more "territory" inside your house, to play with them for a half hour (or more) every day, making sure the boxes are kept clean, etc. But if everything you are able to do still leaves the kitties at odds, the Comfort Zone pheromone product does seem to make a difference in helping cats get along well, so I would recommend that you try it for a few months and see if your cats are getting along better.

He's fine with them everywhere else
1. Thank goodness these come in a 6pk! 2. I think these work amazingly well. I've tried the scratching ones, but we really need the tension/multicat ones. We have three cats, all rescues. We have two females and one male (he's part siamese), and as the male has gotten out of kitten stage he has started to pick on his sisters. He chases them and was beating up on one of them badly. I have put one diffuser in our bedroom and the other two on opposite ends of our first floor. They have made a HUGE difference. I can actually tell if one is empty by the his behavior. I forgot to check one in our family room, which is located on the far end of the house, and for the last few days the male has been keeping one of the females from entering the room, or chasing her from the room. It dawned on me today to check the diffuser and it's empty! He's fine with them everywhere else. To be fair, I do practice encouraging them to play together with toys at the same time, they eat at the same time etc but I don't think we could keep the male if we didn't have the diffusers.

Fantastic product that actually works!
I have a very neurotic scaredy cat and an alpha male cat.We recently moved 800 miles away and I was very worried about moving Brother. I had used the comfort zone product before but found the mutlicat refills and bought these to try out. Before I brought the cats into the new house, I put out 6 diffusers throughout. I did this a day before I brought them up. Not once did they seem nervous or scared. They came out of their cages and went under the couch but the next morning, they were calm and happy and have been ever since. No meowing, no fights, just peaceful happy cats! I highly recommend the mutlicat for more than 1 pet. We have 4, and they are happy and calm. This stuff really works and thankfully for Amazon, its fairly affordable. Very expensive at Petco and Petsmart! Thank you Amazon and thank you Comfort Zone for a product that really WORKS!

Helps my cats when they’re stressed
I have used the feliway diffusers for my 2 rescue cats for a couple of years. They work well and do help when a new cat sitter is here or before I have to take them to the vets. It’s not cheap stuff but it works great if you have stressed cats at home

So far so good. We tried this after using the regular Feliway for a few years - since our little male cat was diagnosed with idiopathic cystitis. One of the stress factors is another cat in the household who is also a bit of a bully, and that they are totally kept indoors for their own safety. We're still on the first refill but it already seems very effective in calming both kitties. The biggest thing though is that the interaction between the two seems much better. The bully is not as aggressive and they are casually hanging out more together. Really glad we tried it and I expect we'll continue!

Really helps calming cats. My cats are all fixed ...
Really helps calming cats. My cats are all fixed but one of them is quite dominant and they sometimes fight. I also have a blind cat who gets picked on by the others and she ends up being stressed and pees outside of her litter box. With comfort zone it reduced the fights by at least 50% and my blind kitty stopped peeing everywhere :)
