From time to time I'm asked if I ever build Willow furniture and this is my answer to that query. I started out with a nice slab of Sitka spruce salvaged from southeast Alaska. Spruce branches were fashioned into legs, backrest and arms. True to my massive rustic style, I used only enough willow to add a touch of class to the project. This is a nice big bench that will fit into any room in your house from the entry to the living room. Just enough stress marks, discoloration and worm holes were left to add age and wear to this piece. Would make a very nice boot bench for the mudroom with plenty of room for boots underneath.
