Fine. The stuff you like in 2017 will be ...
Ian Anderson is getting a little older. You millennial snowflakes will someday get older too. His Voice is fading but instruments still clean and creative. For all Tull fans this is a must-listen. The man has been a musical prodigy for 45 years. All the youngsters that don't get it. Fine. The stuff you like in 2017 will be gone in 2018.

disappointed in this Ian Anderson offering
have to say I was a little .disappointed in this Ian Anderson offering. The music did'nt have the ebb and flow of "Thick as a Brick" and always seemed a little disjointed. Now don't misunderstand me, I am a diehard Tull fan and have seen them more than a dozen times. Just don't expect too much and you'll have a good listen.

Great work that stands on its own against the original
Great work that stands on its own against the original. The mix was done by Steven Wilson, so the sound quality is great.

Gerald Bostock Lives!
Happily surprised, It's very different than the original thick as a brick, not a cheap remake, a must have for all lifers!

Great work!
Very Jethro Tull-like sound, from the very beginning. Loved it! Cannot decide if the first or the second album is better. Listen to both of them with pleasure!

Will Have You Standing On One Leg
Complex and clever and lives up to what you would expect from the pen of Ian Anderson. Would say TAAB1 is my preference but then I am 'Too Old for Rock and Roll But Too Young to Die'

WISE MEN DON'T KNOW HOW IT FEELS
Okay. it's not TAAB but it is pure Anderson and more than just an add-on for the sake of it.There are moments when you can hear TAAB themes drifting in and out but not to the detriment of the album but rather it's enhancement and only one overt reference to the original right at the end in a very tongue-in-cheek manner. It's true to say that Mr Anderson's vocals have waned with age but then again that's true of almost everyone and he still delivers very well. The (band) is not a who's-who but a collective of very good musicians and the overall feel is a pleasant experience. Some have been critical perhaps expecting something closer to the original but to Anderson's credit he's carved out a whole new concept. I guess some wise one's didn't get it.Approach with open ears and mind and enjoy it for what it is, one very good album to add the the Tull/Anderson legacy.

Disco all'altezza
