Lowering my review to two stars!!
I'm back with a new review. We've now purchased a total of 5 Happy Tiffins--two of them had rims that cracked, lost their shape and we are now unable to fit a lid on them--they are worthless!! (New update--we're now down to 2 tins--a third one has cracked!) In addition, a few of the latches have come loose. Although we love the idea of these--I will NOT be purchasing any more. Hoping to find a similar product that holds up better.I probably should only give it three stars. We bought 3 of these. We absolutely love them but we have had our problems. One of the locks fell off one of them by the second use. Another one split around the rim and it became hard to put the lid on it. We continue to use the one with the missing lock. However, the one that split ended up splitting on the opposite side and we had to throw it away. Regardless--I'm getting ready to buy two more because it's perfect for a nice big lunch salad or any other meal. Wish they could make them a bit more sturdy!!

Shoddy Piece of Junk
The. very. first. time. I used it, one of the clasps came off.Really disappointing. I wasn't expecting fine craftsmanship, but I don't think that sturdy durability is asking too much.

which I found easy to open and close
This box secures with three tight-lock latches, which I found easy to open and close. It also has a handle making it easily transportable. It's very roomy and measures 6 x 6 x 4.5 inches. It's great for holding salads, big sandwiches, fresh fruits and vegetables, and other whole foods, mainly items you would want to keep cold since this can't be used as a cooking or baking vessel. My son has a big appetite and this box can hold two to three sandwiches. I did put some water inside this container and then turned it every which way I could and it didn't leak a single drop so it seals nicely. Therefore, if you wanted to take your elderly neighbor some warm soup you made for dinner, it could work for that.Disclosure: I received this product at a discount price in exchange for my honest review.
