I recently got an old sofa-bed reupholstered, but its original 4" mattress made it virtually unusable as a bed. We took a chance on this mattress, as it is an inch wider and 2 inches longer than the original. Would it fit in the sofa-bed when we attempted to fold it back up? ... Yes!! We are simply careful to push in the sides around the hinges while we fold it (it takes 2 people), and it folds up just fine. And what an incredible difference to sleep on!! Total transparency: you can still feel the sofa-bed bars a little bit with this mattress by itself, but we also got the Zinus Annemarie Solid Wood Bed Support Slats, and together... OMG, you can't feel the bars at all, the mattress is pure heaven, and now EVERYONE fights to sleep on the sofa-bed because it's so incredibly comfortable!

We were given a twin fold out couch that was almost painful to sleep on. You could feel the bar and springs in the mattress that came with the couch. We put this mattress on top of the old one when we use it and it's nearly as comfortable as my bed! I cannot believe the difference it's made. Highly recommend! Glad I got it when I did, looks to be out of stock now.

The positive reviews were the reason I pulled the trigger and paid the premium price for this mattress. I very pleased with this purchase and have owned this mattress for about three months. We use the mattress at our cabin on a Lay-z-boy queen pullout. Of course the bars were the main issue with this pullout sofa and with most pullouts. Lay-z-boy offered 3 different mattress but none received positive reviews (unless you were on their site). I must say as a 230lb over 6 foot guy that I was skeptical but after a few nights I am sold. I cannot feel the bars under the mattress and I slept great. You get what you pay for and this mattress was well worth the price. I actually called the PluchBeds before I bought this product and a real person answered and educated me on lb density of memory foam. After extensive research I felt this product was superior and after 3 months I believe it will hold up nicely.

Mattress was delivered rolled up in a box. It unrolled easily and flattened out within a few hours. No odor at all - which was a concern since so many reviews cited odors. Replaced my original sofa bed mattress, which flattened over the years and was able to feel the underneath bars - which I now cannot feel with this new gel mattress! Highly recommend this for sofa bed mattress replacements!

We bought this for our 15 month old Crate and Barrel sleeper sofa that came with a coil mattress. The Crate and Barrel mattress was okay when it was brand new but it was time to “upgrade” it. We just received the Plushbeds gel memory foam replacement today. It’s a bit softer than what I would of liked but hopefully it will retain its shape as we have many guests that will be sleeping on it. There definitely is a odor which I hope dissipates. We will air it out for 48 hours before closing the sofa up. As for comfort it seems pretty comfortable and is better than the old one. Rating it 3 stars because of odor and because it is a bit soft. I may update this review after we have guests.

I tried several other brands of memory foam sofa beds, and after a few rounds of returns finally found this PlushBeds gel memory foam brand that is working very well for me. Even being 6' tall and 200 lb., this PlushBeds memory foam bed offers great back support and a restful night's sleep which I didn't think possible for a sofa bed. It also does not have any heat-trapping or residual outgassing smell that i ran into with some cheaper memory foam brands. Highly recommend it!

This isn’t the most comfortable bc it isn’t very thick. We put it on an existing mattress on the sofa bed and it seems to be perfect as the topper.

The packaging was a little frightening when it arrived. The information doesn't warn you that the mattress is only 3/5 of the width. It didn't take very long for the bedding to expand and it fits perfectly and is very comfortable.
