    He keeps it interesting.

I became aware of Evan from his work with The Faceless on their most recent album and was curious to see what he could do outside the realm of metal. I believe it's safe to say you can't question his chops or instrumental creativity. The album flows through quickly and remains interesting from start to finish. I enjoyed the innovation of his debut disc being constructed of bass tracks only but believe the inclusion of other instruments are a welcome addition to this one. I can't pinpoint any weak tracks here but would humbly request to hear a little more work with less of the percussive/slap vibe on the next one.I look forward to seeing how his career pans out in the handful of years to come. I can't stress how great it is to see a bassist with this level of technical ability not afraid to experiment and get himself out there given the sadly predictable musical climate we're living in at the moment. No reliance on one specific sub-genre fanbase, studio over-production, or fad of the moment here, just straight up human skill. *Cheers*

    All killer no filler

*by W***B on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2016*

Clocking in a smidge over 35 minutes this album is all killer with no filler. Musically this is high energy instrumental fusion/rock that is chaotic at times but somehow manages to hold a groove that is accessible. Odd time signatures and the occasional dissonance make for an intriguing listen that can be truly labeled as original progressive music. This is years ahead of most regurgitated musical slop of the day. The layering of multiple bass guitar tracks is done so well that at times you may believe its guitar. Evan is a monster bass player, awesome composer, and his backing band - Navene Koperweis (drums) and Jeremiah Abel (keys) are superb. Recommend for the musically adventurous.
