Time MX4 Pedals

I have used Time ATAC pedals since the 1990s, several sets of the original ATACs and one set of ATAC Z. Have not used any of the more recent models with flat spring bars & adjustable tension, but these MX4 work as well as my old ATACs and are much lighter than either the original ATACs or the ATAC Z. Great price for a great pedal, I would choose these over any of the $100-250 Time ATACs with the small xc body.

I‘be ridden on a pair of Time Atac pedals since 2006 when I first started using clipless pedals. They’re light enough for use with cross country, but rugged enough for more technical trails. I lost my old ones when my bike was stolen and replaced them with these. Nice to know the quality hasn’t changed! Solid purchase at a good price!

Well received but the quality is not so good like the box was tear a part but the paddle cleat still good condition.

I ride hard and have tried many pedals. From crank brothers "mallets" to SPDs of all ranges xt, xtr, xtr with platform etc... Time pedals are the only pedals that I don't blow out of when things get crazy. However I can get out of them easily when I want/need to. I only know two other riders that use Time pedals and one is my teammate/training partner. We both race Enduro and we are both nuts. We both run the MX4 pedals having recently switched from Time pedals from the early 90s. We both wanted a platform, and considering the price, weight, mud clearing ability and all around functionality the MX4 pedals are a steal!! Everyone thinks XTRs are the bee's knees but at twice the price of the MX4s the XTRs are only slightly lighter, have a smaller platform, do NOT clear mud and release at the most inopertune moments. I know it's scary to try something different in a cycling world run by shimano, but if you are an aggressive enduro/downhill rider who doesn't want to come unclipped in the middle of a brutal rock garden or while throwing a whip over a 30 foot jump, Time pedals are your answer.

I've used Time pedals for maybe 20 years. One of my bikes was stolen and I had to buy these for the replacement bike, and they make a good product even better. I can ride clipped in as easily as on my other bikes, but also quite comfortably without clipped shoes. A group of us were ready to start a trail ride, and I didn't have my Sidis on, but I didn't want to be the dime in Dollar Waiting on a Dime, so I road in the hiking boots, and my feet had a stable platform for keeping up with the group. All is good

I've been using Time XC pedals for 25+ years. I was apprehensive about the extra cage on these making it harder to get into the clips, but I've found no issues - these function pretty much the same as the XC versions, but with the added benefit of being useful when you're in street shoes for shorter trips - like peddling around the campsite after your ride.

These things are garbage. They dont fit and I can't return. Buyer beware.

Been XC racing with Time Atac pedals since 1997. It is evident that Time is lowering it's costs and creating "planned reduced longevity" on their products. The older models are virtually indestructible and maintenance free. Selling something that will last forever is NOT GOOD FOR BUISINESS. So, this model is evidence of Time wanting to create a product that will get destroyed or at least damaged so we have to buy again after a few miles/rides. I read other reviews that Time products get damaged when that never happened before. So I tried these wider model. I think it was a mistake. Why? = I DO NOT like the fact that these wider model hits rocks and obstacles constantly making your brain distracted while you should be focusing on the trail instead of the pedals. Should have bought the XC original design. These are NOT good for Cross Country racing. Maybe good if you do not really need to pedal and just need some cleated platform.

Bin vor einigen jahren über die pedale von time gestolpert. Hab jetzt mein 2tes bike damit ausgerüstet und bin genau so zufrieden wie mit den ersten. Die immer noch ihren job machen wie ganz am anfang

Pedale ottimo per l'enduro e trail. Attacco facile e sicuro. Venduti con taccette Easy da 10 gradi sganciano facilmente ma mai per caso. Ottimo appoggio con pedale sganciato anche con le scarpe da xc. Rispetto agli SPD non agganciano pestando sul pedale ma facendo scorrere la scarpa sul pedale verso avanti. L'aggancio pulisce anche il pedale da eventuali cassetto incastrati, molto comodo. La plastica é molto robusta e il movimento ben sigillato
