Easy to put together and fits great in my cage! make sure you measure if you have a smaller cage. Extremely functional and my babies love the box. Easy to add seeds, easy to remove from the cage and empty the shredded remaining of the seeds. Once in a while I was the box with warm water and a bit of gentle soap to clean and sanitize the box. It’s durable and the clear color makes it less visible in the cage. My bird population is extremely happy and they enjoy the food dispenser. I have an additional dispenser to ensure they have enough food.

**Q: what size would be good for a parakeet? ty**
A: The small would be a good fit, i think. I have an xl for my caique. Large would’ve worked. Medium would be ok for you as well, as long as they don't mind larger spaces.

**Q: Will it work if I fill with water and use as a water bowl?**
A: yes you can put water in these if you want.

**Q: What size can work for macaw ?**
A: The biggest here is a large but I would recommend bigger or make one.  Seed space seems small for their beak size and the perch is small.  I have the Large for my Goffin and it’s spacious for her but wouldn’t recommend for larger Macaw.

**Q: Should I buy medium for sun conures and ringnecks?**
A: Medium is good, i have a large for my caique, he sits on the divider and uses it as a nest

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are perfect for the right sized bird...

There is nothing negative to say about these feeders. They are well-made, sturdy, and do the job of minimizing seed mess. I would caution everyone to be sure that your bird is small enough to turn around in these to get out. I have two ringneck doves and I ordered the medium size (the largest they had). My doves took to them right away, having no issues figuring out how to get in them and access the food. Our problem was, when they finished eating from them the first time, they could not turn around to get out. I had to take them out by hand backwards because their tails were too long to fit inside the box to allow them to turn to get back out. This is the only reason I will need to return these, and it's no fault of the seller or manufacturer. I will be replacing these with the extra large bird baths and using that for seed instead, to still keep the mess at a minimum but have enough room for them to come and go. But I would highly recommend these for any smaller bird less than say 8 inches long or so. Hope this helps :)
