As someone who has used them for 16 years I only wish I had found them sooner. I often cover large distances walking and the shock from the impact on regular ferrules can often take it's toll on your shoulders and wrist. I honestly feel like these remove at least 80% of that impact shock and also give you a slight boost as they decompress like a spring when you push back off. It feels strange after using them for so long to not have this feeling and also the grip is exceptional. The fact it remains stable and flat no matter what angle you are at helps a great deal, if you hop and almost swing as I do. As when you are at certain angel a regular ferrule only makes minimal surface contact with the ground and slips easy especially in wet conditions. I would highly recommend these to anyone. I've been using them a week and i've covered miles and there is hardly any wear on the bottom whatsoever. A great invention and idea!
