Compact as compact should be
Perfect for hiking, camping or keeping for a spare. Probably not the highest quality materials. I do however find it perfectly engineered, otherwise. Would order again - hope to get more use out of them.

I received it as a present. I was skeptical about it until I used it. Is light weight and has a new way to handle a reel, very different from what I'm use to. Line is strong for its size and very handy to take it in a pocket. I'm happy with it.

Worth every penny! Easy, smooth cast and the line never tangles. By far my favorite fishing rig yet. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants easy, fun and affordable fishing gear.

Very original and useful/practical!!
I was not sure how this would work, since the only fishing I've ever done is with a fishing pole. Actually, I have not been fishing as much the past few years, given how when the idea hits me, I'm nowhere near my fishing pole. I decided to try this product out, and I have to say, it is pretty amazing! It came in a nice neat holder with hooks and easy to follow directions, and the whole thing fits in my pocket and much thinner then my wallet!Now it does not matter when the need hits me to fish, I simply get it out of my pocket and off I go. First time I used it, it was pretty amazing feeling my first fish as I reeled it to me. I'm hooked.

Excellent product. I love that I can take it anywhere and fish anytime. Finally, fishing gear that fits in your pocket. It's the fisherman's dream! My fingers fit in the holes perfectly and I feel a nice secure grip when holding the reel. I can cast the line and then slip the reel in pocket, leaving my hands free to do other things while I wait for the fish to bite. I cannot believe that it took this long to get something like this on the market.
