Okay cover for Winterization
I bought this cover to cover the boat during the winter. I have a 1996 Monterey Montura 236 (23.5 ft, I/O, Runabout) sitting on a Venture trailer that is stored outdoors.First the good aspects of the cover: - Made of a high quality material - long enough and wide enough to cover my entire boat - It holds off water every well - Breathe-ability is okay. The bad parts:-The straps: -- I could see the connections breaking after a couple seasons -- Are too short for my set up, between the windshield through one strap from the stern, i had to knot tie some of them to the trailer instead of using the connector -- I can't get them tight enough, either they lack elasticity or the connectors don't allow you to tighten it easily, I would think ratcheting straps would be a better design. -- After fighting to get it tight, the connectors don't come off easily and it is hard to loosen the tension. - There is not enough support (probably from the straps that don't get that tight) between the windshield and stern to stop water from pooling up. When I checked on the boat for the first time this winter there was about 20 gallons of water sunken in the back. As a quick fix I put a patio chair (it's winter I will not miss it) with a high back on the boat deck towards back of the boat and that gives it enough support to prevent a pool of water from forming. The upside to this story is it did hold a pool of water without leaking a bit. - Getting the cover on is not quick an easy, it took me at least a 20 minutes (as a one man job), just simply spreading the covering is about 20% of the job, the other 80% is fighting with the straps. Conclusion: If I had to do it over again I would not get this cover for my boat, even if it meant spending twice as much on a different cover. I would like better straps and a better way to prevent water from pooling in the back. After this cover I really do respect the custom fit covers, it probably would have avoided these issues. Now that I have the cover I can live with it. I will probably work on a way of modifying some the current straps with ratchet straps next winter. I probably will put the patio chair back in the boat to give support in the back next winter as well.UPDATE Almost 2 Seasons of winterized use:Downgrading to 2 stars...After using this for the second season to over wintering the boat with this cover, I checked on it and where I was using that poach chair (with all rounded edges), it had torn at where the chair was holding the up cover so the water wouldn't pool up. The cover is garbage now and I will not miss it. I never modified the straps with ratchets, I just got them as tight as possible before over wintering it. Also the cover had sun faded from a decent looking gray to more a fuchsia with a gray tone. The strap clips (the one side I could use) where all dry rotted out and falling apart.Falling short of two seasons of use I would recommend to spend the money on a custom fit quality cover.

Great quality but straps were a little short for me.
Wow got this yesterday and it seems much stronger than the previous ones that I bought for $200 and this was $50.The only down side is the straps were too short for my boat and trailer combo. So I made rope loops to connect to easily extending the straps. This problem could be because I just built something along the lines of custom saw horses. To create a ridge line to prevent water pooling on top. Which is why I ripped the last cover.

Beware
I have owned this cover for less than1 and 1/2 years, it is still waterproof. Appears to show a lot of exterior wear for something that is expected to last 5 years. Buckles are already very hard to open. Got a small tear from windshield point that isn’t very sharp..(padding fell out). Not optimistic I will get more than 2 years. Warranty seems to be worded so they can weasel out of anything.

Well made but runs small
I bought this cover for a 16ft Bayliner bow rider. The cover was well constructed but did not fit my boat. The cover was about 2 feet short of covering the whole boat. I ended up sending it back and getting the next larger size which fits fine. So I would say order it big. There are plenty of straps to hold it down, but I need to add a couple of tarp grippers in between the straps to keep the cover taught and keep water from pooling up on the cover. It seems to be semi water proof in that it holds water but it eventually drips though so don't count on it to keep the boat dry.

Heavy Duty!
This is a nice strong heavy duty cover. It lists a beam dimension that I ignored, so it is a little narrower that what I "expected". It still works fine and I will purchase another one at some point. My recommendation is to pay attention to the beam diameter when you order.

Not a good boat cover and not worth the money!
This cover didn't fit my boat right but I managed. Last summer it did an okay job of protecting my boat from the weather. I kept it inside all winter now this summer the cover has faded incredibly and I can't keep the rain out of the boat. Every time it rains the inside of the boat is soaked. Very disappointed in this cover and have been researching purchasing a new one.

Wake provides horrible customer service to their paying customers
5 year warranty? What a joke! Its more like a 30 day Amazon warranty. I bought a cover from these guys, it looked all nice and pretty out of the box, but within 4 months it became horribly faded. I tried contacting Wake to make a warranty claim. I followed their guidelines and sent emails with a copy of my receipt. I never received a response. I called on the phone and was placed on hold until they just eventually hung up. No one would even speak to me. Horrible customer service by wake. Save your money, It's not even worth the time.

Terrible Quality
I bought this cover in a hurry after my 8 year old factory cover failed before a 900 mile trip. One of the snaps failed within the first 5 miles on 45 mph roads. A strap actually broke at highway speed.

Proud as a cloud. What you see is what you get.
The ABSOLUTE heaviest fabric on the market right now. Having a boat from 1980 I was afraid I'd never replace the well worn cover with anything decent, this took a lot of research and one failure I sent back from another company who claimed theirs was the heaviest. When I was handed that package by the postman and read what it was I immediately sent it back on weight/size alone; too small - too lightweight. THIS one, however was the exact weight/size it should be, about 20 -25 lbs of heavy-duty double stitched waterproof fabric with sewn-in clips which are getting harder and harder to find. Great heavy duty mesh net included for it as well, the color matches my 17.5 Cannaventure o/b and fits like a glove, basically running the edge of the boat right where the paint line is, so it fits and LOOKS great on it. Makes it look like a brand-new boat someone shelled out big bucks for. Perfect in every way, two thumbs up. My boat sits a little prouder now and so do I. (looks just like THEIR pic.)

Wake Monsoon
I purchased the Wake Monsoon Model D boat cover. When it arrived and I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised on the good quality of the material for the price I paid. Once I put it on my boat I noticed that it was way to big for my 18' Bayliner 1990. I believe this cover is made for a newer model boat that is a bit wider and longer. I sent it back and got a full refund.
