I did not like spending nearly $90 for one DVD. If it was not so very hard to find this, and I'd waited a very long time, I would never have spent that much on one DVD. However, I saw this film in the 1970s, when it was in the theaters. It impressed me, a lot. I was able to get my hands on an LP, in the 70s, and I played it a lot. It had the music, and most of the movie dialog. Earl Scruggs plays the bluegrass music, and its really good. The singing is haunting and lovely, the songs are great, and the story is fantastic. I LOVE it.To be honest, the picture quality is not 100%, really, but its okay. It probably wasn't a very high budget film to begin with, and in the end, the movie has so much going for it, I didn't even find that disturbing. The story is so wonderful, and I feel they did a fabulous job with this movie, for the times when there were not such great special effects as there are today, and the casting was so great. The acting was so good.I'm just in love with this film and story, and I waited since the early 1970s for it to come out in DVD, and here it is. So, I'm not sorry I bought it. I will treasure it and watch it with my family, for the rest of my life, even if it was overpriced for a DVD. For me, its a TREASURE, so I'm mad about the price, but not that mad. Get it, you may love it too.Its a great story, I think the book won awards, and a copy of the book is much less expensive, if you want to give that a try, too. Or get the book and read it and then enjoy this film. Its about an amazing girl, 14 year old Mary Call. On his dying bed, her father asks her to take his place, as her older sister Devola has taken their mother's place in the family. Their mother had passed away, years before. She has to find a way to keep the family going, virtually single handed, and not let anyone know their parents had died, so they would not be split up and taken to an institution for orphans.The story so impressed me when I saw it in the 1970s, it has given me inspiration and strength my whole life through. I do recommend getting this DVD. In my opinion, its a really great story. They live in homespun and humble circumstances, but seeing how Mary Call struggles and succeeds against all the odds in keeping her promise to her father, and learning life lessons along the way, is worth a lot. This is a perfect family movie, or a great story to inspire a young girl.

I started using this band and glider set a couple of days ago and it has worked out really well for me. FYI, I recently injured my Achilles tendon and was recommended by my PT to increase my workout intensity and this has been a great tool to do that. The bands smell a little but the smell disappeared over time. I would highly recommend it.

I bought this bag for my trip around Europe and didn't want to bring a carry on bag with wheels. Even with the bag stuffed full it was comfortable to carry around on my back and walk around crowded areas. Even with it was packed solid, it still managed to fit in all the overhead bins on all the flights I was on. Bag looks great and is definitely not cheap feeling. I do wish the compartments on the top flap were a bit bigger but still love the bag.

I used this to repair a defective servo in my NeuroSky Necomimi ears. Except for the fact that the Necomimi uses a nonstandard connector and I therefore had to splice the wiring, everything worked. Though I'd advise having some small washers handy, as the screw which mounts the servo assembly to the headset bottoms out before being fully engaged, leaving the ear a little bit floppy. So I guess the bottom line is if you're replacing a low-quality plastic-geared servo with this higher-quality metal-geared servo, you will have little or not trouble. In my specific instance, the difficulties were all solvable and the repair took less than an hour.

These arrived individually wrapped and are gorgeous. I have not yet worn them so I am not sure how they will hold up to routine use. However the fact that they arrived all in tact is promising. I think they look better in real life then photos. These can easily go with a dressy or casual outfit. They are long so make sure an look at the picture where they are modeled.

Great price and purchase. I gave it as a gift and my friend loved it. Would highly recommend this product. I've bought several of these butterfly pins to date and have given them as Christmas presents to bank tellers and the girls who work for the utility companies. :-)
